A tornado of creative energy, Mercer’s a leopard frog who quickly becomes frustrated with anyone who isn’t on his wavelength. Even so, he's good natured, sticks up for the little guy, and enjoys taking Bruce down a few pegs with his sarcastic wit.  Mercer detests unoriginality and adores gadgets. He throws himself (often literally) into each new project, usually with disastrous results.
