Hi everyone...just a word of explanation here...the reason why I redid this comic:  the version below was supposed
to be about the leopard frog, but after I drew it I found out that it's the green frog that makes a banjo sound.
The leopard frog sounds like a balloon.  So I tried to fix it by replacing the word "leopard" with "green".
But then it was driving me crazy because Mercer is a leopard frog, not a green frog, so it didn't make any sense.
And also, there are no green frogs on the Canadian prairies.  Look, it's important okay?  I had to make it right. 
Granted, I am aware there are a few other biological inconsistencies in the strip, in that everyone walks on their hind legs
and talks, but I have to present my facts correctly.  Aside from that part I just mentioned about the walking and talking. 
And maybe the fact that most of these critters would eat each other in the wild.
